Original Paint, must see in person to appreciate! 1982 was the first model year the FXRS and the second to last year for the Shovelhead. Just months after Harley-Davidson completed their buyout from AMF, they produced the "Engineers'Bike". The FXRS was the most refined, best handling machine that had ever come from Harley at that time. The FXRS frame was designed around the 80ci Shovelhead that was rubber mounted. The back-end of the bike was lifted a couple of inches to increase lean angle and handling. The bike also came equipped with triple disc brakes. This is a true piece of history.
